New Traffic Rules on Horn Volume: According to the new traffic rules, your challan of up to Rs 10,000 can be deducted for blowing the horn. Actually, according to the Motor Vehicle Act Rule 39/192, if you blow a very loud horn while driving a motorcycle, car or any other type of vehicle, then you can be fined Rs 10,000. Apart from this, if you blow the horn in ‘No Horn Zone’, then you can get a challan of Rs 2,000. This comes under rule 194F.
