
Thor: Love And Thunder Box Office Day 8 (Early Trends) : Marvel’s much-awaited film made a massive debut at the ticket windows on Thursday last week and became the 5th biggest Hollywood opener in India. The Oscar-winning Taika Waititi directorial stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson in the lead roles.
The film’s fourth installment in the Thor series also ran quite well, crossing half a century during the extended weekend. The film then saw a drop in Monday’s collections, recorded here 6 crores*, Since then the film has been running for a week.
however, ThorLove & Thunder surpasses Jurassic World: Dominion’s Lifetime collection in just 5 days. Now the film is on its way to enter the 100 crore club as the collections are already 78 crores,
As the latest trade reports are coming in, the Taika Waititi directorial has earning potential Rs 2.50-3.50 crore* 8th day and total collection will stand around approx. Rs 80-81 crore*, The collection of the second weekend will officially take the film into the 100 crore club.
Also, there are no major releases this week. Thor: Love and Thunder hits small budget films such as: The First Case and . will horn with Well done Mithu at the box office. This would mean that the Chris Hemsworth starrer has one more moolah to make till next Friday as Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited release Shamshera hits the screens.
Thor 4 will get limited screens as most of the screens will be allotted to Shamshera. Marvel has a strong fan base in India and the film will remain stagnant at the bottom till next Friday.
Thor: Love and Thunder has performed as expected during its opening weekend globally. In the domestic circuit, in the US and Canada, the film starring Chris Hemsworth almost touched $150 million In the first three days (including Thursday night previews).
