Did you know that Laal Singh Chaddha’s song Toor Kaliyan has been shot at multiple locations? The song’s script sought to cover different demographics. The much-awaited Lal Singh Chaddha enters the diverse geographical regions of the country, which is as old as it is.

The song ‘Toor Kaliyan’ from Laal Singh Chaddha features one of the longest shot sequences from the film. It took about a month and a half to shoot this long sequence. Not only did the team travel from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for the shoot of Tur Kaliyan, but also traveled far and wide to capture 5 second shots.

At that time, Aamir Khan was battling with a knee pain, which not only forced the star to take painkillers, but he also had to bring a physiotherapist along for the shoot. For the uninformed, Aamir Khan went out of his way to shoot these scenes. Despite being in severe pain, Aamir Khan refused to stop the shoot and completed the shoot on time. The star took this decision as the shooting of the sequence had already been delayed due to the pandemic and he did not want to wait on it.

‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Chaitanya Akkineni. This is the official remake of Forrest Gump. The film will release on 11 August 2022.
